Why is it so hard to change?

So many of us know without a shadow of a doubt that a particular course of action that we take, or a certain pattern of behaviour that we follow, is having a negative effect on us. All we have to do then, is to decide to not do this particular thing any more, do something else instead, and that's it - problem over.

So why don't we do it?

Accepting and understanding that even small behavioural changes can be extremely difficult to make - even when these changes are essential for our own wellbeing - was the driving force behind the creation and development of the HypnoWellness approach. By gently assisting the client to learn how these mind-mechanisms work, and by helping them to regain control over these vital elements; the all-important changes can begin to take place. Crucially too, the changes that HypnoWellness helps to bring about tend to be deep-seated and long-lasting; allowing benefits far greater than just alleviating the original single issue.

HypnoWellness is an integrated combined therapeutic approach that is completely client-centred. What this means in practical terms, is that I enhance classical orthodox Clinical Hypnotherapy with modern behavioural-modifying techniques, including NLP and CBT delivered in a highly approachable, understanding and empathetic manner. This integrated approach makes the therapy positively enjoyable and extremely effective.
